Location: Davenport, CA

Big Creek Lumber Company, a leading supplier of lumber and building materials in central California, seeks Entry-level Logging Team Member for our highly-regarded logging crew. This position provides opportunities to learn and move into more skilled positions.
Characteristics – Candidates must be able to:

• Consistently report to work each day on time
• Effectively work in a team environment
• Work outdoors in remote forest areas
• Perform job safely at all times
• Safely pull up to 100 lbs
• Stand/walk on uneven/steep terrain throughout the shift
• Work around dust, poison oak, bees and other natural hazards
• Basic chainsaw skills desirable

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00AM-3:30PM; transportation may be provided from central meeting point to remote jobsites. Peak season is 04/15 through 10/15; time off of up to 1 month may be scheduled during the winter months.
Starting rate: $22-26/hour, depending on skill and applicable experience
