Location: Half Moon Bay, CA

Big Creek Lumber Company, a leading supplier of lumber and building materials in central California, seeks Forklift Operator/Customer Service Yard Attendants for our Half Moon Bay retail yard.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing a high level of service to our customers in a safe, prompt, courteous, professional and effective manner
• Directing the customer to the merchandise and helping load customer vehicles
• Building orders for delivery
• Stocking lumber and hardware
• Maintaining the yard, store and warehouse in clean, safe and orderly condition

Characteristics & skills:

• Forklift operation is required
• May be required to make small, local deliveries
• Good practical knowledge of building materials and construction terminology
• Positive, professional, personable manner
• Ability to lift 100 lbs. from the ground into the bed of a standard size pick-up truck
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Schedule:

• Mon-Sat; day shift

Compensation:

• Starting wage of $18.00-22.00 per hour depending on experience.
