Current opening for a Order Fulfillment Manager.
Are you an experienced and effective order fulfillment manager interested in a hands-on position in an informal work environment? Big Creek Lumber Company, a leading supplier of lumber and building materials in central California, seeks an Order Fulfillment Manager for our Watsonville location. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the lumber yard, including load building, inventory control, customer service and coordination with dispatch/delivery; act as a key decision maker, problem solver and leader of production team.
Candidate needs management experience in order fulfillment, logistics, shipping & receiving, production or warehousing. Forklift experience is desirable. Ideal candidate has experience in lumber and building materials and/or construction.
Requires ability to effectively lead staff to achieve branch goals; demonstrate leadership in safe work habits and excellent customer service; skill in managing and developing a successful production team; good basic computer skills and the ability to effectively use data to improve decision making; basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reports; good communication skills; good organizational skills to maximize operational efficiency; good basic math skills; ability to lift 50# from ground into standard pickup truck; ability to problem solve, shows initiative and is a forward thinker.
Full-time position. Competitive salary based on experience plus annual bonus program based on company profitability.
