Location: Davenport, CA

The Registered Professional Forester (RPF) works to plan, permit, and implement challenging forest management projects. This position entails a wide range of duties including: preparation of complex management plans and harvesting permits for company and client-owned timberlands, supervision of company and subcontracted logging crews, strategic planning for land management decisions, mentoring and supervising junior staff, and public interface. The applicant should be licensed as an RPF and have extensive field experience, excellent verbal and written communication, technical writing and computer skills, and demonstrated project management capabilities. Package includes medical, dental, voluntary vision and life insurance; 401k retirement plan with generous match and profit-sharing contributions; bonus potential; and paid vacation/sick/holidays. Salary range: $85,000-$130,000 a year depending on qualifications. Full-time salaried position.
