EMPLOYEE FEATURE – Drew Pinney, Facilities Team at Big Creek Lumber

Drew Pinney is in his third year at Big Creek and he works in facilities. He loves the people at Big Creek and says they are what make a hard job possible.

When asked who from Big Creek has had a big impact on him he said there are so many to thank, but top of the list would be Scott Barnes. Scott is Drew’s partner in crime in the facilities department and Drew has learned so much from Scott!

As for advice he’d give to a new employee Drew thinks asking lots of questions is a sure bet, “We learn by asking questions and knowledge sharing is how we rise.”

In his spare time, Drew is an avid skateboarder! He’s had many broken bones over the years from his adventures on the skateboard but says it’s all worth it. The board being a running theme, Drew says he also skimboards and snowboards. Anything to ride the air, snow and ocean waves!
