Big Creek Lumber is committed to providing a positive shopping experience for our customers
and offers a 90‐day return policy. We do our best to accommodate our customers’ returns,
including but not limited to the policy below.

Returns will be accepted within 90 days of purchase if the product is in good, “like new”,
sellable condition and in the original packaging. Used, faded or weather‐damaged materials are
generally not eligible for returns. Certain exceptions may apply or a partial refund may be
offered if that is deemed fair by the Store Manager.

Returns must include valid proof of purchase such as an original receipt or be purchased on a
Big Creek account. Refunds are issued in method of payment that was used for the purchase, or
as explained below. There are exceptions and company checks may be issued at our discretion
due to banking policies and limited cash on hand; more information below:

  • Purchased with a credit card – we will credit the card that was used for purchase.
  • Purchased with cash – we will make a cash refund of up to $100 if we have funds available in the cash drawer (manager discretion). If we are unable to issue a cash refund, we will mail the original purchaser a check for the refund within 14 days.
  • Purchased with a debit card – a refund check will be mailed to the cardholder who made the purchase within 14 days.
  • Purchased with a check – a refund check will be mailed to the customer who made the purchase within 21 days. Checks have additional bank restrictions and we will execute a refund as quickly as possible.
  • Purchased on your BCL account – we will issue a credit note to the account that the purchase was made on.

Please note:

  • Special orders are non-returnable
  • Cut material is non-returnable
  • A 15% restocking fee applies to certain items
