Our Davenport location is home to the Big Creek Lumber administrative offices, sawmill, forestry department, and redwood sawmill sales division. These departments are vital to our business. They support our wholesale customers and five retail lumber yards.
Located on the coast overlooking the Pacific Ocean just north of Davenport on Highway 1, we’re a local business with a locally-grown product and team members who are very familiar with the construction needs of contractors and homeowners in this area.
We’re proud of the zero-waste production performed at our Davenport sawmill, which provides the redwood lumber for our retail locations. Nothing is wasted as the result of our sawmilling process. We sell our redwood byproducts to local companies that use them for landscaping and soil amendments.
This location opened in 1964. Our Davenport facilities are not open to the public.
