My favorite part of my job is… the working relationships I have with so many of my customers and getting to work with the entire Paso Robles team.
I enjoy helping customers... achieve their building project goals, large or small.
The product I enjoy selling the most is... of course, our amazing, fresh, locally grown Redwood.
A little about myself... I was born and raised in lumber country, Tacoma Washington.
I enjoy working at Big Creek Lumber because... every day is a challenge and an opportunity to help our customers and support those I work with.

Opened in 1980, this five-acre yard is the preferred shopping location for many local commercial contractors, vineyard owners, homeowners, ranchers, and DIYers and is easily accessed from Highway 101. Big Creek’s hub for the Central Coast, our yard offers a variety of products including framing materials, pressure treated lumber, decking, fencing, and Big Creek’s own redwood, which is produced at Big Creek’s mill in Davenport, CA. We also stock an excellent hardware and tool selection, making this branch a complete one-stop shop.
The team in Paso Robles has over 100 years of combined lumber yard sales experience and is ready to assist you with any project large or small. Your success is our highest priority. We have bilingual employees who can assist customers in Spanish or English.
Our drive-through yard has products laid out and easy to find to make your visits fast and efficient. Load up your truck and pay as you leave the yard so you can get back to your job as quickly as possible. Or even better, have your materials delivered.
A rail spur at this location allows us to purchase railcars of lumber directly at a bulk discount that we pass along to our customers. We’ve been a local fixture for nearly 40 years in Paso Robles and we look forward to assisting with your projects for many years to come.
