Project Description:
The existing redwood siding had not been maintained well. We replaced it with pre-painted Hardie cement board siding. This was our first use of pre-painted siding. It’s a great product and works well. Cement board siding is fireproof, rot proof and provides a stable base for paint.  The only downside to this material is that it is hard to work with. We use manual shears as well as powers shears as much as possible to minimize dust and noise.
