About:
Founded by Greg Johnson and Jay Dorn as general building contractors that do projects large and small. They started as framers and moved into building big custom homes. They also have a custom cabinet shop and build many of the cabinets for their custom kitchens. They’ve been shopping at Big Creek Lumber for over 40 years.

Project Description:
This beautiful project is being custom built for homeowners Janet and Wes Allinger and they made many custom touches throughout. This was framed by North Coast Construction and designed by Bret Hancock AIA.

The custom home includes a home office as well as a spacious open living space. They were environmentally conscious with the construction; including solar electric and hot water. The house has many unique features such as stainless steel flashings, and custom made  clear cedar eaves.

Many products were used including Hardy Artesian 5″, open web floor, glue lams and clear cedar. Windows let lots of natural light into the home. One of the coolest touches in the house is the large olive tree, which was raised over the house by a crane and beautifully placed in the back yard.
