Location: Paso Robles, CA
Big Creek Lumber Company, a leading supplier of lumber and building materials in central California, seeks a Class A or B Delivery Driver to make local deliveries for our Paso Robles lumber yard.
Responsible for:
- Promptly and safely delivering lumber and building materials to customers
- Safely tie down of loads
- Safely rolling off loads; some manual unloading of materials may be involved
- Providing excellent customer service
- Assisting in building orders, assisting customers and other job-related tasks as needed
Requires:
- Current Class A or B California drivers license and excellent driving record
- Ability to work effectively with others to obtain customer satisfaction and promote Big Creek’s image in a positive way
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. from the ground into the bed of a standard size pick-up truck
- Ability to tie down loads and manually unload some material
- A high level of safety awareness
- Ability to read maps and find delivery sites in remote locations
- Skill in driving rural roads and making deliveries to remote construction sites.
Schedule: Mon-Fri; day shift; may include overtime
Starting rate:
- Class A – $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
- Class B – $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Delivery driver experience: 3 years (Preferred)
- Lumber & Building Materials: 1 year (Preferred)
- Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Forklift Certification (Preferred)
- CDL A (Preferred)
- CDL B (Required)
Shift availability:
- Day Shift (Required)
